People often ask Sylvia, “What led you to become a homeopath and why are you so passionate about it?”

The answer to that is:

“Looking back on my life, I realised that from a very young age, I have been interested in my own health and helping others achieve health and wellbeing. I was particularly attracted to natural methods of healing that were gentle and non-invasive.

At the point in my life when I just had one small child, I was fortunate to have met someone who introduced me to homeopathy. I was immediately attracted to this form of medicine because it was low risk and suitable for all ages, as well as recognising that one size does not fit all. It provided the tools to help support the body’s own natural healing ability.

Like many of you, I did not have much money and I loved the fact that the medicines were inexpensive and generally only one is needed at a time. All symptoms are taken into consideration consistent with a holistic approach.

For simple, everyday ailments such as bruises, the discomfort associated with respiratory tract infections, earaches, teething etc. I was able to teach myself how to help my family. I successfully raised three daughters without needing to use antibiotics or conventional pain and fever relief medicines. After receiving a medical diagnosis for other ailments, I consulted a professionally trained homeopath for medicines to support the body’s own innate healing system.

When my children were older and had left home, I decided to change careers and become a homeopath. I had no idea, when I made this decision, that homeopathy had so much to offer and that it could often bring about profound changes to people’s lives.”

As a registered Homeopath, Biochemic Practitioner and Certified Gaps Practitioner in Curtin, I help people achieve optimal health and well-being. Whether you are looking to adopt a holistic approach to manage your health or experiencing a chronic health problem, I am here to guide you through your healing journey.
